About Irab

The analyzer. Paste an Arabic sentence and get its i'rab word by word: part of speech, syntactic role, case, the case marker and why, and full vowelisation. Free on the web at the i'rab analyzer with a daily limit, and in the app.

Practice. You do the i'rab yourself; the engine compares your answer with the correct analysis and points to the exact mistake, with a practice bank and seven challenge levels. For teachers there are live i'rab rooms (مجالس الإعراب): a teacher hosts a quiz and students join from any browser.

References. The complete i'rab of the Quran (6,236 ayat) quoted from Mahmoud Safi's «الجدول في إعراب القرآن» with the source named on every page, grammar lessons (in Arabic) written and reviewed before publishing, and two dictionaries in the app: smart, and classical drawing on 13 works.

We think i'rab is a skill learned by corrected practice, not by memorising tables. So the analyzer explains instead of tagging, practice grades and names the mistake, and the reference is credited by name whenever we quote. When we get something wrong we fix it on the page itself, as described in our methodology (Arabic).

Irab is independent and ad-free, funded by the optional Irab Plus subscription; the core stays free: the analyzer with a daily limit, the lessons, and the Quran i'rab.
