Welcome to Irab (إعراب), an Arabic grammar analysis app developed by Mansoor Hassan ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Irab app on iOS or Android, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the app.

You must be at least 13 years old to use this app. Users between 13 and 17 represent that they have obtained parental or guardian consent where required by applicable law.

Creating Your Account

You may use the app as a guest (limited features) or create a full account via email/password or Google Sign In. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Account Security

Notify us immediately at support@irab.app if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Account Deletion

Delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account. All personal data is removed from our servers within a reasonable timeframe. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible.

Account deletion does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Cancel separately through the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account to avoid future charges.

All in app purchases are processed by Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Prices may vary by country or app store region. Some Western markets may use higher regional pricing. The App Store or Google Play purchase sheet shows the final local price before you subscribe.

How to Cancel

• iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Irab → Cancel
• Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Irab → Cancel

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You retain premium access until that date.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play. We do not issue refunds directly.

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with advance notice. Continuing use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends through App Store or Google Play settings to avoid being charged. Each Apple ID or Google Account is eligible for one free trial per offer.

Free tier limits may be enforced by account, device, install, IP, or other abuse protection controls. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits with reasonable notice.

Educational Purpose Only

All AI generated grammar analysis and explanations are for educational purposes only. The AI may make errors with rare constructions, classical texts, dialectal Arabic, or poetry. The Irab app is not a substitute for qualified Arabic language instruction. Verify important analyses with a qualified teacher or authoritative reference.

You retain full ownership of any Arabic text or content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non exclusive, royalty free license to process, transmit, and temporarily store that content solely for the purpose of providing the requested feature (grammar analysis, dictionary lookup, practice grading). This license does not allow us to use your content to train AI models, share it with third parties for other purposes, or use it for marketing.

You agree not to submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates applicable law. You are solely responsible for the content you submit.

You agree not to:

• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security feature, rate limit, or access control
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the app or API
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app
• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
• Share, transfer, or resell your account or subscription
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limits
• Use the app in violation of applicable local, national, or international law

The Irab app: including its design, code, curated grammar content, challenge questions, practice sentences, and gamification system: is the intellectual property of Mansoor Hassan or is licensed to us.

We grant you a limited, non exclusive, non transferable, revocable license to use the app on your personal device(s) for personal, non commercial, educational purposes subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, how we use and share it, retention periods, and your rights.

THE APP AND ALL CONTENT, FEATURES, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement.

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of implied warranties for consumers; in such cases, exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MANSOOR HASSAN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL; RELIANCE ON INCORRECT AI ANALYSIS; SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS; OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid for a subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $10 USD.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations for consumers; where this applies, the above limits apply only to the extent permitted by law.

By you: Stop using the app and delete your account via Settings → Account → Delete Account at any time.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive activity, or attempted to circumvent security measures or usage limits.

Effect: Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. Account data is deleted per our Privacy Policy. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately and termination does not entitle you to a refund.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. We aim to resolve disputes informally and in good faith. Please contact us first at legal@irab.app: we will attempt to resolve concerns within 30 days.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a push notification or in app banner, and the "Last Updated" date will be updated. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant changes (e.g., pricing, data practices), we will provide at least 30 days advance notice where required by law.
